The Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) is seeking to appoint an Assistant Content Creator to support the delivery of digital communications across its platforms. This is a full-time entry level position, based in Melbourne, Australia.
The role is focused on supporting the creation, coordination, and performance monitoring of digital content across social media, website, and e‑communications. This position is suited to an organised, creative and motivated individual looking to develop practical experience in a fast-paced communications environment.
Key responsibilities
Working with the Head of Content and reporting to the Social Media & Marketing Manager:
- Support the creation and delivery of engaging digital content across ECAJ’s platforms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as email open rates and recommend refinement of digital strategies.
- Contribute creative ideas and input to support campaigns and communications initiatives.
- Assist with the development, scheduling, and publishing of content.
Support day-to-day digital activity across social media, website, and e‑communications. - Monitor content performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Stay across digital trends to inform fresh and relevant content approaches.
- Provide general support to the digital and communications team as required.
Skills and experience
- Early-career professional or recent graduate in communications, marketing, media, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in digital platforms, social media, and content creation.
- Familiarity with content creation and scheduling tools is desirable.
