Our Executive Director Peter Wertheim was honoured to attend the annual conversation between representatives of Australian Jewish community and the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, held today in Sydney.
Attendees came from Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra. Besides Peter, Jewish community representatives included Rabbi Ben Elton from The Great Synagogue in Sydney, Rabbi Alon Meltzer from the ACT Jewish Community, and Rabbi Jacqueline Ninio from Sydney’s Emanuel Synagogue.
At the ECAJ, we strongly believe in dialogue between all faiths, as well as helping all groups achieve a shared goal of religious and cultural tolerance.
