Hamas’ March of Return: Know the Facts

Hamas’ March of Return: Know the Facts

Hamas opened its “Great March of Return” on March 30, with the goal of drawing tens of thousands of Gazans to the border fence.

By dusk, nearly 20,000 Palestinians could be seen congregating for a series of mass protests in tent cities erected in six locations along the Israel-Gaza border which will remain in place until mid-May to serve as staging areas for protesters, and include medical and media facilities, restrooms, and sleeping quarters.
The encampments and the campaign leading up to the march were funded by Hamas at a cost of nearly $10 million.
Over the past several days, a great deal of misinformation has been spread in the press and on social media about.
In response, the World Jewish Congress prepared a report to ensure that you have all of the facts and full picture of what is currently transpiring along the Israel-Gaza border.
