The Chinese Aus­trali­an Forum recently hosted a dinner to say farewell and thank you to Australia’s Race Dis­crim­in­a­tion Com­mis­sion­er, Tim Sout­phom­masane. Mr Sout­phom­masane is due to complete his 5‑year term next month.
Among those attending the event was Federal MP John Alexander OAM, and community leaders from the Aus­trali­an Chinese, Jewish, Greek and Arab com­munit­ies.
ECAJ co-CEO Peter Wertheim was one of the speakers at the event. Also from the Jewish community was AIJAC’s Glen Falken­stein.
