Israel’s Ambas­sador to the Unit­ed Nations, Gilad Erdan gave a spe­cial address at the annu­al con­fer­ence of the Exec­u­tive Coun­cil of Aus­tralian Jew­ry – ECAJ that took place on Sun­day 29 Novem­ber. Ambas­sador Erdan com­mend­ed the strong and long­stand­ing rela­tion­ship between Israel and Aus­tralia and the impor­tant con­tri­bu­tion of the Aus­tralian Jew­ish Com­mu­ni­ty in pro­mot­ing these ties.

Ambas­sador Erdan referred to the pos­i­tive impact the Abra­ham Accords are already hav­ing in our region, as well as poten­tial coop­er­a­tion in the UN around com­mon inter­est such as water, envi­ron­ment, agri­cul­ture and more.
