Our Executive Director Peter Wertheim was honoured to attend the annual con­ver­sa­tion between rep­res­ent­at­ives of Aus­trali­an Jewish community and the Aus­trali­an Catholic Bishops Con­fer­ence, held today in Sydney.
Attendees came from Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra. Besides Peter, Jewish community rep­res­ent­at­ives included Rabbi Ben Elton from The Great Synagogue in Sydney, Rabbi Alon Meltzer from the ACT Jewish Community, and Rabbi Jac­queline Ninio from Sydney’s Emanuel Synagogue.
At the ECAJ, we strongly believe in dialogue between all faiths, as well as helping all groups achieve a shared goal of religious and cultural tolerance.
