The hosted by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) and Zionist Federation of Australia (ZFA) hosted the national community tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and a prayer for the accession of King Charles III, with prayers and messages from rabbis and community leaders around Australia.
Referring to the 35% increase in antisemitic incidents last year, ECAJ Research Director Julie Nathan told SBS News that what is needed "is more effective legislation to counter hate-motivated attacks against people.
