ECAJ calls on Senate to support judicial inquiry

ECAJ submission to Senate inquiry calls for a judicial inquiry into antisemitism on Australian campuses.

The submission details the culture of Jew-hatred that is becoming normalised in academic settings and the inadequacy of the Australian Human Rights Commission to study it.

We maintain that a judicial inquiry into antisemitism on university campuses in Australia is the only effective way to establish the truth about the nature and extent of antisemitic incidents and discourse at universities across Australia while preserving the confidentiality of Jewish students’, academics’ and professional staff’s personal data, and protecting their security.
