The Australian National Dialogue of Christians Muslims and Jews met today to discuss recent events that potentially impact on freedom of religion in Australia, the reputation of the three monotheistic faiths, and other issues on which might develop a common position.
Representing the Jewish community at the meeting were ECAJ co-CEO Peter Wertheim, ECAJ Research Officer Julie, ECAJ Life Member Josie Lacey, AIJAC Director of International & Community Affairs and ECAJ Life Member Jeremy Jones, as well as Rabbi Ben Elton from The Great Synagogue Sydney.
