The organisation’s mission is to reduce, and ultimately eliminate altogether, the incidence of emotional and physical abuse in Australian society resulting from unlawful public acts of racial vilification involving antisemitism in particular, and to empower victims to overcome such abuse through the pursuit of legal redress and education.

We envisage an Australia in which all persons can go about their lives without their freedom and sense of security being violated by the propagation of hatred against them, directly or indirectly, on the basis of their actual or perceived race, colour or national or ethnic origin.

The forms of emotional and physical abuse which we are pledged to overcome are the effects of bullying and intimidation which are inherent in the public incitement of racial hatred, whether or not the incitement involves explicit or implicit threats of physical harm, including:

  • limitations on the personal liberty of those who are the public targets of the hatred;
  • their internalization of, or tendency to internalize, racially discriminatory messages; and negative stereotypes, and
  • their propensity to accept inferior status or rights, and to “suffer in silence”.
