Rebuild Adass

Rebuild Adass

Stand with our community and help rebuild Adass Israel Synagogue.

The horrific attack on the Adass Israel Synagogue was an attack on the very heart of the Jewish community and on our Australian way of life.

We can’t let that un-Australian hate destroy the country we love. We have to stand with the Adass community and help them to rebuild, and rebuild even stronger.

The day of the attack, ECAJ President Daniel Aghion KC and Jewish Community Council of Victoria CEO Naomi Levin spent the day of the attack in Ripponlea supporting the Adass community.

It was an emotional experience speaking with survivors of the attack, watching Torah scrolls being rescued from the ruins, and liaising with first responders.

On Sunday they gathered nearby with thousands of supporters from the wider Australian public to rally in support with the Adass community.

The love and support of the Australian public was overwhelming and it spoke with one voice which appeared on many placards: “we choose unity!”.

Now is the time for us to unite with the Adass community and help them rebuild.

The synagogue was insured but insurance can’t cover everything. More importantly, we need to help them not just rebuild but rebuild even stronger.

Please join us in acting quickly to support Adass’s Rebuild Adass campaign now.
