Antisemitism reporting hub
This is the national hub for reporting antisemitism in Australia. This hub has information on why, what, and how to report antisemitism.
Why report antisemitism
It’s important to report antisemitism (anti-Jewish racism) in Australia so Jewish community organisations, governments, police, human rights bodies, and others are aware of the nature and extent of the problem.
If incidents aren’t reported, it makes it harder to develop policies and actions to address it.
What to report
You should report anything you see in Australia that is clearly:
- Targeting people or places because of their Jewish or Israeli identity.
- Any abuse, threats, incitement, intimidation, vandalism, graffiti, stickers, posters, or physical violence with anti-Jewish sentiment, or anti-Israel or anti-Zionist sentiment using antisemitic tropes.
How to report
- Document as much as you can – photos, videos, screenshots, links to the post/comment and account posting it, and emails.
- Submit your report using the form below. We may contact you for further information or verification.
We also recommend reporting it to:
- Where it happened, such as the institution or business where it happened or the online platform where you saw it, using their reporting or complaints processes.
- Police, if it is criminal in nature.
- Any relevant government bodies, such as the National Student Ombudsman (for something in a university setting) or eSafety Commissioner (for something online).
In an emergency call 000 first
In an emergency always call 000 first.
Then call 1300 000 CSG (1300 000 274) when it is safe to do so.
When you are safe and have time, please report the incident here if it was antisemitic or anti-Israeli.
Report security risks and incidents to your local CSG
You should report anything suspicious, or that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or just doesn’t seem right, to your local Jewish Community Security Group.
In an emergency call 000 first and then 1300 000 CSG (1300 000 274).
When you are safe and have time, please report the incident here if it was antisemitic or anti-Israeli.

What we do with your report
- Your report is confidential but not anonymous. We need to know who submits reports so we can verify them.
- We may use evidence from your report (such as antisemitic words and images) in our reports, but we will not include any information that might directly or indirectly identify you in any public reporting. If we have any doubts, we will contact you first.
- We work closely with other Jewish community organisations that receive reports about and publish statistics about antisemitism – including state roof bodies, local community security groups, and some sector groups like AUJS and 5A – and may share details of your report on a confidential basis.
