On Mon­day Par­lia­ment heard two emo­tion­al speech­es about alleged Israeli mis­treat­ment of Pales­tin­ian chil­dren. Nei­ther of them men­tioned the vast upsurge in ter­ror­ism against inno­cent civil­ians in Israel which were the inevitable cause in the increased num­ber of juve­nile arrests. Fur­ther­more, nei­ther speech men­tioned the vast num­ber of deaths of juve­niles in sur­round­ing coun­tries, nor the fact that sim­i­lar crimes here in Aus­tralia were being cracked down on with leg­is­la­tion on con­trol orders on 14–18 year olds. This is fol­low­ing a par­al­lel upsurge in Jihadist teenagers attack­ing inno­cent peo­ple even here in Aus­tralia.
