The ECAJ has warmly commended the Federal government and Minister for Home Affairs, Karen Andrews, for the decision announced today to list Hamas in its entirety as a terrorist organization under the Criminal Code.

An Amnesty International (AI) document published today labelling Israel’s existence since 1948 as ‘apartheid’, has been scathingly rejected by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), the peak representative body of the Australian Jewish community, which has described the AI report as ‘shoddy and dishonest’.

The Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), the peak representative body of the Australian Jewish community, has warmly welcomed the release of the findings of the Gandel Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness in Australia Survey, commissioned and funded by the Gandel Foundation and conducted by researchers at Deakin University.
