Our work

The following piece by Alex Ryvchin, the ECAJ's Public Affairs Director, was published in The Australian on 11th January, 2018.

The ECAJ is proud to bring the World Jewish Congress' global International Holocaust Remembrance Day campaign #WeRemember to Australia: Today, antisemitism is at its highest level since WWII, Holocaust deniers are relentless, and the safety of Jews in many communities is being threatened daily.

The following article was written by the ECAJ’s Research Officer Julie Nathan, who is the author of the ECAJ annual Report on Antisemitism in Australia.

As a companion to the 254-page ECAJ 2017 Report on Antisemitism in Australia, released in November 2017, Research Officer Julie Nathan has compiled a condensed version of that report. Download this version in PDF format here.

Please find below the ECAJ’s media release regarding the death of Hungarian-born Karoly (Charles) Zentai, who reportedly died in Western Australia on 13 December 2017.

The ECAJ was honoured to welcome His Excellency Mark Sofer, Israel's new Ambassador to Australia, at our Annual Conference in his FIRST public address in Australia as the Ambassador.
