In response to the unprecedented challenges caused by the global pandemic, the communal leadership has activated the NSW Jewish Emergency Plan – a set of measures designed to protect our community and our way of life. A critical part of this is the establishment of an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) to coordinate the provision of essential services to community members.

Members of the community requiring support, including obtaining household items, medicines and access to mental health services, should call 1300 JEMP AU (1300 536 728).

It is essential to make this support available to our needy and vulnerable. Kindly help share this message throughout the community, particularly to those living alone, the elderly and anyone requiring special assistance.

24/7 JEMP NSW Emergency Operations Centre: 1300 JEMP AU (1300 536 728).

The NSW Jewish Emergency Management Plan (JEMP) is funded through the Jewish Communal Appeal (JCA) and is a co-ordinated response by the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, the Council for Jewish Community Security (NSW) and the NSW Community Security Group (CSG).
