Review of the relisting of Hamas’ Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades as a terrorist organisation under the Criminal Co

The Par­lia­ment­ary Joint Committee on Intel­li­gence and Security (PJCIS) is currently reviewing the recent decision of the Minister for Home Affairs to relist of Hamas’ Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades as a terrorist organ­isa­tion under the Criminal Code. The ECAJ has lodged a sub­mis­sion with the PJCIS sup­port­ing the relisting, but also calling for Hamas in its entirety to be pro­scribed as a terrorist organ­isa­tion.
